A Japanese WWII Shin-Gunto neo army officers sword, circa 1937-45, prunus cast brass tsuba, brown braid bound tsuka and triple chrysanthemum head menuki, with brown leather bound scabbard, sword total length 96.5cm, blade length measured to the Tsuba 70.5cm, scabbard length 74cm

The blade is badly rusted in places, pitted and the top of the blade is blunt. Please see condition report images.
I cannot see anything stamped on the hilt or the blade.
