A 19th century French silver sauceboat on stand by Louis Manant, Paris, circa 1829-1854, the oval boat with moulded edges and naturalistic entwined vine twin-handles either side, the stand with similar decoration, hallmarked with purity head stamp and maker's initials, the stand 24 cm wide, total weight 870 grams
