A Harwood automatic, silver, gents wristwatch, import marks for Glasgow 1929, the silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, outer minute track and blued hands, signed Harwood, in a cushion-shaped case, on a later brown leather strap. John Harwood is credited for inventing the first automatically wound watch mechanism which was patented in 1924.
