A Japanese Meiji period red and brown lacquered irregular shaped bowl fashioned as a gnarled piece of wood, decorated with a flowering tree and a bird to the interior, 7cm h, 31cm w and a carved bamboo brush pot decorated with vines, butterfly and flowers, 10.5cm h and a large glass bottle painted to the interior with flowers by a rock and a bird, 20cm h.
Condition: the bowl lacquer flaking to the rim and foot. The brush pot has all inlay missing
