A late 19th/early 20th century Jacques & Sons travelling chess set, with carved bone pieces on a marquetry board with 'Status Quo' mahogany case, with original leather protective box, entire board open 29.5 cm x 23.5 cm

Condition: overall good condition, no breaks, surface scratches to the mahogany exterior, the leather box is worn with surface scratches and damaged corners, no missing pieces, the marquetry is good, one of the mahogany wooden pieces inside needs re-fixing
