A Japanese Meiji period red lacquer two case inro, decorated with relief flowers to one side and macaque monkey to the other, with mother of pearl and applied gilding, 7.3 cm wide x 5 cm high
Condition report: some loss of gilding, the inside is damaged (see photos), horizontal light crack to the external top lid, wear commensurate with age
