An Ebel WW2 Air Ministry, manual wind, gents, stainless steel wristwatch, dated 1943, the dial having centre seconds and Arabic numerals, on a fabric strap, 6B/159, scored out and later reissued as a 6B/234, 504/43. These 6B/159 watches were originally issued as flight tools for pilots and navigators during WW2 however almost all of them were later reissued towards the end of the war with the reference 6B/234 meaning that it was downgraded for general use by airborne and ground crew. This could be an indication that they no longer met the tight specifications required by the Air Ministry. 32mm
