A late 19th century French gilt metal, repeating, alarm and date carriage clock, the white enamel dial signed 'D.Potonie Paris', with two subsidiary dials below for date register and alarm, the profusely engraved case decorated all over with floral scrolls and vacant cartouche to the reverse, the movement striking on a single bell and signed to the backplate, 16cm high x 9cm wide

Had a replacement platform
Back door is missing handle to open door
In ticking order and can set the hands fine but the alarm, hour strike and repeat function do not work, possibly a broken mainspring
We believe the repeat function is every half and hour and on the hour
The clock does need some attention
