A Victorian silver claret jug by John Grinsell & Sons, hallmarked Birmingham 1877, the silver top of plain form with ball shaped finial, the etched glass body depicting a scene of a stag, doe and fawn in a country setting, 24.5cm high x 9.5cm wide
The silver lid and handle is tarnished. There are water marks in the bottom of the jug. The glass has several light scratches and the hinged lid is slightly wobbly. No other obvious signs of damage.
