Valuations for Insurance, Probate, Family Division etc.

A professional valuation service is offered by our qualified valuer. You may arrange an appointment for our representative to visit you. This service is available for everything from an individual, specialist item to entire house contents. Our valuation certificates are acceptable to insurance companies and are invaluable should an insurance claim subsequently arise.

In addition we can provide a discreet contents valuation service for executors and solicitors. We will provide a detailed inventory, as required, as well as the schedule IHT407 form required by HM Revenue and Customs.

Valuations for Auction.

We provide free valuations for items brought to our Auction Rooms on one of our valuation days (currently every Thursday and Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am – 12 noon). No appointment is necessary. If any item is too large to bring to us, we are happy to give verbal valuations from photographs. Alternatively, for larger groups of items, collections or house contents, you may wish to make an appointment for our valuer to come to you. There is no charge for this service. House Clearance Services

An efficient and prompt service is offered in respect of house clearances. An initial, no charge visit will be made by our resident valuer, prior to any clearance. In addition, a complete removal service can be offered.
